SIAC has started literacy program to fight ignorance among elders

This year 2022-2023, SIAC starts literacy program to fight ignorance among elders.By now twenty-eight learners are following the program at SIAC, Gikomero site, Muhanga District. Illiteracy is among the big challenges that elders face. Illiterates elders don’t easily get information related to them because they don’t know how to read and write. Thus, literacy program will facilitate elders to access some services. It is planned that this first literacy class will graduate in June 2023.
