Rwandan senior citizens on climate change mitigation.

Climate change affects everyone, and so, solutions should come from everyone. On 9 November 2024, the Founder and Director of Sazana Ishema Aging Centre (SIAC), Rev. Nyiransengimana Immaculee conducted a climate workshop to retrieve indigenous knowledge and experience in building resilience and adaptation to climate change impacts. This took place at Gikomero, Nyarusange Sector, Muhanga District, Southern Province. SIAC in collaboration with Stewards of Eden, a partner NGO donated more than 2000 fruit/food trees to the elderly residents after the workshop.
